How to Play Nerdle
Nerdle is played on a 6×8 grid, where players guess an equation involving numbers between 0-9 and basic math symbols (+, -, *, /, and =). The grid cubes change color based on the guessed equation:
Green: Correct number or symbol in the right position
Red: Misplaced number
Black: Incorrect symbol or number
- Open the official website of the Nerdle game i.e nerdlegame.com
- Now you will get three-mode (Mini Nerdle mode where you get six squares to fill in, Classic Nerdle have 8 squares and the Instant Nerdle Where all symbols and number givens you only need to rearrange them in the correct position and pro nerdle)
- Guess the Nerdle in 6 tries or 2 tries depending on the mode you had chosen.
- Each guess must be a valid 5 numbers and equation symbols. Hit the enter button to submit.
- After each guess, the colour of the tiles will change to show how close your guess was to the Number.
A new Nerdle Equation will be available each day!

Nerdle Number game rules:
- Each guess is a calculation.
- You can use 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 + – * / or =.

- Standard order of operations applies, so calculate * and / before + and –
- If the answer we’re looking for is 10+20=30, then we will accept 20+10=30 too (unless you turn off ‘commutative answers’ in settings).
